Peel Regional Police have charged five youths, in connection with a series of seven car jackings that happened in Brampton.
Officers say the happened over the course of less than a week, between September 27th and October 3rd.
The teens were arrested between October 3rd and the 10th, and range in age from 14 to 17-years-old.
The victims in the car jackings suffered minor injuries, and police say it doesn't appear a weapon was used in any of them.
"Anytime any of our youth are involved in crime, it's concerning for us. Even moreso when we see how young some of them are, especially the 14-year-old." says Constable Akhil Mooken. "We are appealing to guardians, parents and anyone who works with youth, to be aware of what they are doing and try to steer them in the right direction."
