Friday morning felt a whole lot like winter and depending on where you are, it may have looked like it too.
The GTA and surrounding area got the season's first taste of snow and sub-zero temperatures overnight.
Environment Canada meteorologist Kelly Hobelman says most of Toronto saw only trace amounts of snow.
Still, Toronto Police say they responded to 63 collisions in the 12 hours between 5 p.m. Thursday and 5 a.m. Friday. Most of the collisions were in the city's north end where there was more snow accumulation.
Even more snow fell north of the GTA.

The final amounts aren't in yet, but Hobelman estimates that the Barrie/Orillia area has seen about 15 cm.
Toronto also set a cold temperature record for November 10th. It dipped to -10C before 8 a.m.
The previous record was -8.9C set in 1973.
