As demonstrations go in cities across the United States in opposition to Donald Trump, the President-elect can apparently count on support in a Hamilton courtroom.
The Globe and Mail quotes sources as saying the day after the Republican's victory at the polls, Ontario Court Justice Bernd Zabel walked into a courtroom hearing wearing one of the red 'Make America Great Again' ballcaps that has become synonymous with Trump's election campaign.
Zabel, who has been a judge for more than 2 decades, spoke to lawyers while wearing the hat, and his black robe and crimson sash, then placed the hat on the bench.
Some legal experts call the judge's behaviour unusual, but not one that amounts to misconduct.
