A protest in Hamilton Sunday by a group planning a 'Patriot Walk on Locke' and a counter protest, represented by members of Hamilton against Facism, ended peacefully with no incidents.
Hamilton police told NEWSTALK 1010 they actively monitored the situation but there were no arrests made, nor was anyone hurt.
The protesters - an estimated crowd of 100 to 150 people - stationed themselves at Victoria Park, although there were some Twitter reports of the groups blocking traffic in the King and Main streets area.
Those organizing the Patriot Walk say the event was aimed at showing support for Locke Street, following multiple events of vandalism and destruction the first week of March. Police have yet to make any arrests in connection with the case.
