Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for much of Southern Ontario.
The forecast is calling for a significant rainfall, scattered thunderstorms tonight and into Friday.
By the time the system has moved through, we could see up to 25 mm in some areas.
There's also the potential for very high wind gusts around or in excess of 90 kilometres per hour, which could result in downed tree branches and power outages.
Newstalk1010 will continue to monitor this significant weather system and bring you updates as they become available.
By the way, spring officially arrives at 11:50 p.m. tonight - the earliest spring equinox arrival since 1896!
