The steady, heavy rain in Toronto caused havoc on the roads, with storm sewers unable to handle the extra water.
The problem areas are the same ones you often see: Lake Shore Blvd and the Bayview extension.
Lake Shore was closed down between New Brunswick and Ontario Drive, when as much as six inches of water started covering the road.
The Bayview extension was also closed south of River Street because of flooding there too.
Uptown, Toronto Fire closed off a section of Eglinton, west of Yonge, because of a steaming hydro vault.
The spring has been a wet one in Toronto with a wetter than average April, and now almost double the usual amount of rain we normally see in May.
Environment Canada says we could even see more rain on Sunday.
