A 19-year-old man has been sentenced after pleading guilty to failing to remain at the scene of an accident that left one person dead.
It was in the summer of 2016 that 35-year-old Adam Colucci died after he was struck by a vehicle at Hwy 7 and Keele St the driver took off and left the father of one lying at the side of the road.
Colucci later died of his injuries.
19-year-old Dustyn Sharp was later arrested and pleaded guilty to leaving the scene.
He has been sentenced to 90 days in prison, one-year license suspension, one-year probation, and 100 hours of community service.
