Police in Peel Region have charged a 57-year-old Brampton man in a historic sexual assault investigation.
Cops say they received information of two alleged sexual assaults that happened back in 1992 and 1993. The teen victims were allegedly assaulted in seperate incidents, reportedly by their hockey coach.
As a result, Douglas John Russell from Brampton has been charged with two counts of sexual assault and two counts of sexual exploitation.
Peel Regional Police say Russell was an active hockey coach in Brampton and other communities in the province since the early 80's.
Officers say there could be more victims out there.
