York police are warning of two alleged sexual assaults involving a security guard who works at a Newmarket hospital.
Investigators say a 16-year-old girl reported being sexually assaulted by a security guard who works at the Southlake Regional Health Centre. The teen told police the assault happened off hopsital grounds after he finished work. Police say she knew the guard from a previous visit to the hospital.
During the investigation, a second victim came forward to police.
Police say a 19-year-old woman reported that she was befriended by the accused at the hospital, and she alleges he sexually assaulted her after she left the building.
24-year-old Pabiram Ravichandran from Aurora has been charged with two counts of sexual assault.
