Last year, it was like the winter that never ended.
Temperatures stayed cold right into the spring, and even into the early part of summer.
So will winter be as bad this year?
Maybe.
Weather website AccuWeather says this year, it's going to be snowy winter, especially in Ontario.
They claim that the weather patters are calling for several significant storms that could hit the GTA.
But forecasters from Environment Canada aren't ready to call in the army.
"Over the next few months, we're expecting slightly above normal temperature, and precipitation above normal levels for that same period." says Sherry Williams.
However, because the temperatures are expected to be above normal, that might mean the extra precipitation could fall as rain, rather than snow.
Williams does warn though, that snow could come in big bursts this year, or we could see a little bit of snow, spread out over several days.
That's the way the averages work.
And she says weather is dynamic, and is always changing, so these models could change as well.
