The price of olive oil in parts of Europe is jumping so high, that Jamie Oliver is closing six Italian restaurants in the UK.
While the price jump hasn't been felt in North America, it would seem the oil is becoming a luxury in parts of Europe.
Bloomberg news reports erratic weather affected the olive crops in Spain and Italy, the world's biggest producers.
Prices of extra-virgin olive oil have jumped by a third in Italy while in Spain, prices are up 10%.
But in England, the collapse of the pound and now the jump in prices, has made olive oil the most expensive it's been in at least seven years.
Many of the producers are draining their stockpiles, just to meet world-wide demand.
