While there has been lots of talk surrounding a rebuild of the Toronto Blue Jays, there's been little action.
On Thursday though, the Jays placed Jose Bautista on revocable trade waivers, which is something that happens after the trade deadline.
It's doesn't mean that his time in Toronto is done after 10 years, it just opens the door for a player to be selected by another team.
And even if that happens, Toronto can pull him back onto their roster and try and work out a trade with the interested team.
It's worth saying that Bautista has a no-trade cause and would have to approve any trades made involving him.
