Ontario has created an online portal to help link health care workers to jobs responding to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Premier Doug Ford announced the creation of the website today saying it will help bolster the province's workforce during the pandemic.
Ford says the website will increase the province's frontline capacity in hospitals, clinics, and assessment centres.
He says the province has many health professionals who want to lend a hand but don't know where they're most needed.
The province says the jobs will be paid and will match students, foreign-trained medical professionals and retirees with jobs.
The government is asking employers to also post jobs on the portal to request support.
