Kevin Durant is recovering from surgery to repair a torn Achilles tendon.
He posted to his Instagram account on Wednesday that the operation was a success.
Reports say Durant flew to New York to have an MRI in order to see for certain how serious his injury is.
Durant crumpled to the floor after landing awkwardly during Golden State's Game 5 win in Toronto.
It was the first time he'd played since straining his calf early last month during a playoff game against Houston.
On Tuesday, word surfaced that a Go Fund Me had been started by Raptors fans who want to make up for the way Durant's injury was celebrated by some fans at Scotiabank Arena.
Money will go to Durant's charity for at-risk young people.
The fundraiser has more than $20,000 as of Thursday night.
The original target was $25,000.
