Celebrity businessman Kevin O'Leary spoke publicly for the first time to the media Tuesday about the fatal boat crash he was involved in this past summer, saying he wants all the evidence involved to be released.
"Let's flush it with transparency," he said to CP24.
The August 24 crash between two boats on Lake Joseph in Muskoka led to the deaths of 64-year-old American Gary Poltash and 48-year-old Uxbridge resident Susanne Brito.
The Brito family has also filed a lawsuit against the O'Leary's and the owner and operator of the other boat that was involved.
O'Leary's wife Linda was charged with careless operation of a vessel.
"What we really need here is to get the forensic evidence completely disclosed to all the families including mine, we all want this out," he said. "It's all of the speculation and tabloids and all that stuff, that's unfortunate."
"I feel for the victims of this horrific accident, including my family too. My wife, this really affects her and I feel for her obviously."
