Kevin Spacey continues to face a number of sexual assault allegations, but he won't be prosecuted over one dating back to 1992.
A man accused the actor, now 59, of assaulting him in West Hollywood in October of that year.
However, prosecutors in Los Angeles say the case cannot be moved forward because any alleged sex crime involving an adult that took place in that year falls outside of California's statute of limitations.
Prosecutors continue to review allegations that Spacey attacked a man in Malibu in October 2016. The actor also faces investigations linked to six sexual assault claims over a 22-year period in the UK.
The first person to come forward with allegations against Spacey was actor Anthony Rappy, who said he was just 14 years old in 1986 when Spacey - then 26 - made sexual advances on him.
Prosecutors have also declined to move forward in the case of allegations against actor Steven Seagal because the statute of limitations had passed, while they're also not prosecuting fellow actor Anthony Anderson because his accuser would not let authorities interview him.
