Two types of Kirkland-brand croissants sold at Costco stores in Etobicoke, Barrie, London and Newmarket have been recalled by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency because they could have plastic inside them.
The products are the Kirkland Signature all butter croissants and frozen uncooked butter croissants.
The items have a best before date of Jan. 7 for the cooked croissants and Apr. 2 for the frozen uncooked pastries.
Lot numbers are 0 00010 46334 5 and 0 00010 46391 8
The fresh crossiants were sold in Barrie, London, Newmarket and Etobicoke, the frozen croissants in Newmarket and Etobicoke.
The CFIA says the products should be thrown out or returned to the store where they were purchased.
There have been no reported injuries associated with the product.
