A lockout of 400 workers at Woodbine Racetrack has ended after the employees voted in favour of a new agreement with the Ontario Lottery and Gaming commission.
The workers with the Public Service Alliance of Canada had been picketing for almost three weeks after being locked out on July 14.
A collective agreement was reached on Tuesday with the help of a conciliation officer, and the union says their members "overwhelmingly" ratified the deal on Thursday.
Woodbine was slightly affected by the lockout. The electronic poker room was closed, and there was no shuttle service available.
