A male victim suffered life threatening injuries after being shot at a Toronto community housing complex early Sunday.
Toronto police got the call for shots fired just after 4 a.m. on Driftwood Avenue near Jane street. Multiple gun shell casings could be seen spread throughtout the parking lot of the complex.
According to Const. Allyson Douglas-Cook,the unknown victim ended up in hospital on his own.
"The man suffered mutliple gun shot wounds so he was then transferred to a trauma centre and he was deemed to be in life threatening condition."
Police continue to investigate the shooting but as of yet have little to go on suspect wise.
" No further details no further information on the suspects or possible persons who were involved. So as usual we're always pleaing to the public for help. Anyone who saw or heard anything in that area early this morning around 4 o'clock please give police a call and assist us in trying to get some answers."
