Peel Regional Police say one person is facing second degree murder charges after a stabbing in Mississauga Friday night.
The incident began as an altercation between three parties at around 8 p.m. in the Hillcrest Avenue and Hurontario area of Mississauga.
The victim - a 24-year-old Brampton man - was stabbed and was taken to a local hospital. Police confirmed his death Saturday morning.
Charged is 66-year-old Wladyslaw Habas of no fixed address.
He made a brief court appearance on Saturday and will stay in custody until at least Monday.
Peel Police say they are not looking for any other suspects.

This is the region's 17th murder of the year.
