An 18-year-old man is facing a slew of charges, including attempted murder after cops claimed he tried to run two officers down earlier this month in Toronto.
Officers had pulled over an SUV on October first, on Baldwin Street, west of Spadina, when the driver jumped on the gas.
The officers chased after the vehicle, on their bikes, before the SUV did a u-turn on King Street, coming back at them.
One of the officers was hit, and his bike was run over, with the suspect taking off again.
Police made the arrest on October 6th, but charges were just released on Tuesday.
The suspect has been identified as Kulvir Singh Bhatia, who has been charged with attempted murder, possession of marijuana, escaping lawful custody, two counts of failure to stop after an accident, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and driving a motor vehicle without a license.
