CONCORD, Ont. - The RCMP say a Greater Toronto Area man is facing a conspiracy charge after nearly 50 kilograms of cocaine was seized at the Queenston-Lewiston Bridge.
Police say 50 packages of cocaine were found concealed inside several cardboard boxes containing plastic pellets in November 2017.
A 54-year-old Toronto man was arrested at the time and charged with importation of a controlled substance and possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.
Police say an investigation following the seizure also led to the arrest of a 41-year-old Bradford man on Wednesday.
RCMP say he appeared in court in St. Catharines on Thursday and was charged with conspiracy to import cocaine.
