A 40-year-old man is facing a charge of manslaughter in an alleged case of hit an run in Etobicocke on Monday night.
Police were called to an area around Lake Shore and Islington around 11 o'clock in the evening, for what was first repoted as the sound of gunshots.
When officers arrived, they found a 48-year-old man on the ground with injuries. He was later pronounced dead in hospital.
Cops believed at the time, that the man was stuck by a Dodge vehicle, that later took off.
Just after 5am though, officers found that vehicle and took a 40-year-old man into custody.
He's since been identified as Constantinos Hondrocostas, from London, and he's now facing charges of manslaughter, criminal negligence causing death, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and drug impared driving.
Police still aren't sure if any shots were fired.
