A man is dead in a Brampton crash involving a transport truck and an SUV hauling a small trailer.
Peel Police say it appears the truck was stopped at an intersection, near Queen East and McVean, when the driver of the SUV slammed into the back of the vehicle.
He was pulled from his wreck by fire crews and later pronounced dead by paramedics.
His name hasn't yet been released.
Police say they are investigating the angle of distracted driving as a possible cause.
It happened around 11 o'clock on Wednesday morning and the area was closed down for the investigation.
