The Homicide Unit has been called in to investigate a shooting in Rexdale.
Police say a man was found inside a vehicle early Monday morning in the Islington and Finch area.
He was taken to hospital and has since been pronounced dead.
Police say the victim is a man in his 20's and it appears the shooting was targeted.
Images from the scene show a white car with several bullet holes in the rear passenger side.
Police are asking witnesses and anyone with video footage from the area to get in touch with detectives.
