Police are looking for witnesses of an attack that would have definitely caught people's attention.
A 24-year-old man visiting Toronto from the United States is still recovering from injuries he suffered after being beaten by another man wearing an Angry Birds costume.
It happened at around 2:30 a.m. on October 30th in the Queen Street West and Peter Street area.
"He was walking eastbound on Queen Street West when he was approached by a man wearing an Angry Birds costume. The 24-year-old man made a comment on the man's costume. At that point, the man in the Angry Birds suddenly turned around and began to assault the 24-year-old man and knocked him to the ground. At this point the man was knocked unconcious," describes Constable Jenifferjit Sidhu.
She says the victim was kicked and punched. He suffered a broken nose, broken jaw and concussion.
He's since returned home to the United States.
Surveillance videos in the area failed to capture the attack and police are appealing to anyone who may have seen it and recorded it to please contact them.
The suspect is described as 5"10 to 6"0 and was wearing an Angry Birds costume (the colour unknown.)
