By all accounts, it appears to be a hate crime.
A 35-year-old man, visiting Yonge Dundas Sqaure on Wednesday evening, when he was attacked, his turban ripped from his head.
The man who allegedly attacked him was making derrogatory comments in the moments before and after, according to police.
And police have charged that 31-year-old homeless man with assault.
It's now up to the Crown to decide if hate crime charges will be laid.
It's unclear why this attack happened, with police saying there was no interaction between the two men in the moments before the suspect walked up behind the guy and pulled at his turban.
The victim wasn't seriously hurt but has been shaken emotionally.
