It will be six years in prison for a man who pleaded guilty to driving drunk in a crash that killed a 5-year-old girl.
The crash happened back in 2018 in King Township, when a Volvo crashed into a Ford Taurus on Davis Drivem, near Keele. From there the Taurus was sent into a Chevy Cobalt, and the Cobalt then slammed into a Honda Civic, head-on.
The 5-year-old girl was a passenger in the Civic, and was pronounced dead in hospital.
Her parents, were both injured in the crash and required surgery. Her two brothers, who were 11 and three, were also injured in the crash.
It was about four months after the crash when Kamau Davis-Locke was charged with one count of impaired driving causing death and two counts of impaired driving causing bodily harm.
He pleaded guilty to those charges in September of last year and was sentenced on Tuesday.
In addition to the six years in prison, he was also given a 10-year driving ban.
