Peel Regional police are dealing with a stabbing death.
A man, confirmed to be 19, died as a result of a stabbing in Mississauga early Saturday morning.
The incident took place in the area of Tradewind Drive and Winston Churchill Blvd. early Saturday morning.
Const. Baljit Saini confirmed to Newstalk 1010 that a call came in about 1:14 a.m.
"Looks like it was a house party. There was a male victim that was stabbed."
Motive or suspect description is minimal at this time according to Saini, who's hopeful that anyone who may have attended the house party might be able to shed some light on the incident.
"If anyone was at that house party or in the area, we do urge them to come forward. They can also provide a tip through Crime Stoppers if they want to remain anonymous."
Homicide detectives have taken over the investigation.
