Man uses note to attempt to rob a bank, askes for note back when declined

Toronto Police are asking for the public's help identifying a man involved in a bank robbery investigation.

On Friday, February 3 at 12:16 p.m. a man entered a bank inside the Jane Finch Mall and handed the teller a hold-up note.

The man demanded a specific amount of money, but when he was refused he asked for his note back.

He left the bank and was later tracked onto an eastbound Finch Avenue bus where photos of him were taken from the security camera.

The suspect is described as black, 25 to 30-years-old, 6'0''-6'2" and 150 pounds.  He has a thin build, thin moustache and beard.  He has some gold upper teeth and was wearing black clothing and red running shoes.
