Toronto Police are trying to track down an alleged serial thief with a bizarre haul: lingerie-clad mannequins
Police believe one man is responsible for breaking into the same shop near Dufferin St and St. Clair Ave W on October 7, October 15 and again November 24.
"Each of the three times this person smashed a window, he grabbed...the mannequins wearing the lingerie and fled," const. Allyson Douglas-Cook tells NEWSTALK 1010.
Douglas-Cook couldn't say how many mannequins were taken in all.
The alleged culprit captured was captured by surveillance cameras. He's described as 20 to 30 years old, standing 5'10 with a slim build and wearing eyeglasses. During at least one of the robberies he wore a dark coat with a fur hood.
Anyone with information is asked to call police at 416-808-1300 or to contact Crime Stoppers.
