Toronto Police are continuing their search for a man accused of violently attacking a 16-year-old girl and her 37-year-old mother in Scarborough last month.
Investigators say the suspect entered the woman's apartment in the Eglinton and McCowan area on the evening of Friday November 23, leaving the girl with life-threatening injuries and the woman with serious injuries.
A Canada-wide warrant has been issued for the man, who is wanted on a charge of attempted murder, as well as two counts each of assault with a weapon, aggravated assault and fail to comply, as well as one count of disobeying a court order.
Police say the accused was last seen on the Canadian side of Niagara Falls, on Saturday November 24, a day after the alleged attack.
They say Harry Rajkumar, 46, was trying to withdraw money from an ATM at Casino Niagara.
He then headed southbound on Falls Avenue.
Investigators are asking anyone with information about his whereabouts to come forward, and say anyone who is providing assistance to him could face criminal charges.
