It looks like March is going out like a lion for much of the GTA.
Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement, telling us to expect a messy mix of snow and rain with possible freezing rain mixed in for good measure.
The way the forecast is shaping up, in Toronto, we'll be in for a mix of snow and rain starting around the time of the rush hour home on Thursday.
"From there, temperatures increase through the evening hours, which means that precipitation changes to rain overnight." says Environment Canada's Geoff Coulsen.
However, there's still a chance of freezing rain for northern parts of the GTA, like northern York and Durham regions.
"This is a faily large storm system and the rain is going to last for a significant period of time."
But Coulsen says that is going to set up a pretty wet end of the work week.
"Pretty much everywhere around the GTA will see rain off and on through the day on Friday, tapering off to showers on Friday night."
