The Mayor of Toronto says he's "immensely frustrated" by the way funding flows from Queen's Park.
"These huge pools of money seem to be found almost at the drop of a hat," John Tory says.
Tory calls it "a major disappointment" to watch the Ontario Liberals find the cash and political will to pull off pricey re-financing of hydro contracts, while they tell him that he'll have to sit tight when it comes to a multi-billion dollar list of unfunded public projects.
"I understand that governments have to set priorities but I would just wish that some of the priorities of the biggest city in this province ... would be addressed," Tory says.
He goes on to say that if the provincial government offered Toronto a little more help, "I would have no complaint about what (the Liberals) do otherwise."
Tory lists files like affordable housing, and public housing maintenance as areas where the Premier has let the city down.
The Mayor promises he'll keep pushing for more funding from the higher levels of government.
He's faced with more than $32 billion dollars worth of unfunded city projects, including a new downtown subway line and renovation plans for the Gardiner Expressway and Don Valley Parkway.
