If you've feared trying to ride a motorcycle because you didn't think you could stay upright, there's a fix for that.
Honda has taken the wraps off a self-balancing motorcycle.
Serious. This isn't even witchcraft.
The company has come up with a steer-by-wire system that actually disengages the handlebars from the front forks when speeds are lower than 3 mph. That hands over control of the front wheel to the computer on board the bike.
The motorcycle can then sense lean angles and corrects by turning the wheel to either side. And that can happened thousands of times per second, which counteracts gravity, keeping the bike upright.
And that.... is science at work.
