Minimum wage workers in Ontario are getting a raise this fall.
Come October 1st, minimum wage in Ontario is going up from $11.40 per hour, to $11.60 per hour.
From there, it stays put for a full year.
The Ministry of Labour says the minimum rate of pay in this province has jumped 70% since 2004.
Lower minimum pay rates for students under the age of 18 and liquor servers will also rise, to $10.90 per hour and $10.10 per hour respectively.
