Operations at Billy Bishop Airport were forced to come to a halt Saturday evening following a small plane crash at the end of one of the runways.
It happened just after 5:30 p.m.
Toronto Police told NEWSTALK1010 the pilot of the training school aircraft - and the only person on board - was removed from the plane with minor injuries.
According to our media partner CP24, the small propeller plane did not catch fire, but skipped over the end of the runway and landed upside down in the snow.
Toronto Fire, Police and EMS remain at the scene and the investigation is ongoing.
As of Saturday evening, it was unknown if the crash would have an impact on Sunday's flights.
