They are bracing for the worst in cottage country.
Another roundĀ of rain is hitting the Muskoka area today as the people who live there try to clean up from days worth of flooding.
The area is under a rainfall warning calling for 40 millimetres to fall today and tonight. It could be mixed with snow and ice pellets.
The floodwaters have already passed the level hit during devastating floods in 2013, when over 2,100 homes and cottages were damaged.
The Mayor of Bracebridge is hopeful that dry weather over the past couple of days has allowed enough water to recede.
If you have a cottage in the Muskoka area, you're being told to resist the urge to go up and check on it.
