Should the mother of the shooting victims at a Toronto park, be entitled to compensation for giving interviews?
That's the question being asked.
Stacey King is the mother of two young girls who were shot, while at a Scarborough playgorund last month.
NEWSTALK 1010 had set up an interview to speak with her on Tuesday afternoon, with her pleading for action to help curb the gun violence in the city.
After first agreeing to speak with Jim Richards, she then backed out.
When asked why, she responded in text with "NO interview, with NO pay".
After the producer of the show advised her, that NEWSTALK1010 doesn't pay for interviews, she instructed us that "she has to pay her bills" and then told us without money, there would be no story.
