A mother of two is being identified as the woman struck and killed by an alleged drunk driver in Scarborough yesterday.
Karla Groten was crossing at Warden and Kingston yesterday just before 3:30 p.m. when a 28-year-old driver struck her and kept going.
He was arrested about 5 km away and now faces a slew of charges.
She was pronounced at the scene after paramedics performed CPR for half an hour.
