New charges of first degree murder for Adam Strong, in the deaths of two teens in Oshawa.
Durham Regional Police say Strong, 46, has had his original charge of indignity to a dead body, upgraded to first-degree murder.
The torso of Rori Hache, 18, was found in Lake Ontario in September of last year.
More remains were found in the basement appartment on McMillan Drive, belonging to Strong in December of that same year.
The teen was last seen in downtown Oshawa in August of last year.
Then in July, police reported finding DNA from a second woman, Kandis Fitzpatrick, 19, in that same apartment.
Police would only say it was DNA evidence that led to the upgraded charges.
Strong has been in custody since his arrest.
