Toronto police have seized a loaded gun that they say a man was carrying in his waistband.
Officers say they spotted the gun as the man was getting out of a car, so they approached him to investigate.
This happened at about noon on Monday on Willowridge Rd, near Margin Grove Rd and Eglinton Ave.
When officers searched the man, they found a 9mm Taurus firearm.
22-year-old Abdullahi Hashi has been arrested and charged wtih unauthorized possession of a prohibited weapon, careless use of a firearm, and failing to comply with probation.
