A poll conducted by Forum Research has found overall most people are satisfied with their TTC experiences, about 66 per cent of respondents said they were.
The highest rate of satisfaction coming from those who use the TTC once a month at 81 per cent, but those who use the system multiple times a day were less likely to give the thumbs up at 43 per cent.
People living downtown tended to have the highest satisfaction rate at 72 per cent, the lowest among those who live in Scarborough at 41 per cent.
The poll also asked about overcrowding.
50 per cent of respondents said overcrowding on the subway makes them feel unsafe, 62 per cent said overcrowding will make them more likely to consider other forms of transportation.
When asked about priorities for the TTC 41 per cent say the downtown relief line should be the number one. In Scarborough, however, the Scarborough Subway extension and stacked bus garage is by far the most popular option 44 per cent saying that should be the priority.
The poll was conducted February 7-8 and is considered accurate to within three percentage points, 19 times out of 20.
