With the whole city and country behind him, james hinchcliffe didnt't disappoint at the 31st running of the Honda Indy of Toronto.
Hinchcliffe began sunday's race in 6th place and moved his way up the line into 3rd, where he finished to land on the podium
for a 2nd straight year.
"I wish the race was 10 or 15 laps longer,might have been a better race there at the end. Huge congrats to Josef and Alex and just thanks
to everyone in Toronto. It's always great coming back here."
American Josef Newgarden took the checkers while another American Alexander Rossi was 2nd.
No Canadian has won the Toronto Indy race since Paul Tracy, who was a commentator on the race Sunday, won back in 1993
