Bryan Daly told NEWSTALK 1010's Barb DiGiulio on The Night Side, he witnessed a man in a TTC uniform punch a woman wearing a hijab.
Daly says the woman passed a school bus with its lights on. He claims the man pounded on the woman's window and then began punching her.
Daly says he and other witnesses got out of their cars and while they grabbed the man, he snapped a photo.
Daly says the police were called but the woman left and has not yet come forward. The allegations have not yet been proven.
Toronto Police have confirmed to NEWSTALK 1010 that they have a record of an event that was reported.
A TTC spokesperson tells NEWSTALK 1010, "Unfortunately, as there is an ongoing internal investigation into this matter, the TTC will not be commenting on it."
Daly posted a photo on social media, which he hopes, will encourage the woman to come forward.
