Have you noticed there's a distinct lack of free shortbread cookies in the lounge as you prepare for your Porter flight?
Or free coffee?
Both have quietly disappeared, thanks to the revitalization of the terminal at the Billy Bishop Island Airport.
But don't blame Porter. They haven't been responsible for the free treats since 2015. That's when Nieuport Aviation took over the operation of the terminal from the airline.
However, don't blame them either.
"We are offering Cookie It Up Cookie, which is out of Aurora, Ontario as complimentary. And of course, there is complimentary water as well." says Nieuport spokesperson Rebecca Thompson.
So all is not lost.
If you want a coffee, you can head to the new Balzac's location in the terminal, which is a sit-down or take out location, before your flight leaves.
Good news though, the in-flight experience still hasn't changed on Porter.
"You still get a glass of beer or a glass of wine, and we have the shortbread on board, so nothing has changed with the in-flight experience." says Porter spokesperson Brad Cicero.
About 2.8 million passengers a year use the airport on Toronto Island.
