Toronto Police say a 34-year-old man from Toronto has been charged with first-degree-murder in the death of a man who worked as a volunteer at a mosque in Rexdale.
Guilherme “William” Von Neutegem was arrested today in the death of 58-year-old Mohamed-Aslim Zafis.
Police say the killing appears to be random, with no motive and no known relationship between the victim and the suspect.

Police had earlier said they believed this killing was linked to the stabbing death of another man, found on a walking path near Highway 27 and Humber College Blvd.
Today, officers stopped short of calling Von Neutegem a suspect in that case as well.
