Toronto Police are now saying that the discovery of a noose at the construction site at Michael Garron Hospital, is no longer being treated as a hate motivated crime.
Two nooses were found at the site back on September 24th at around 7 o'clock.
Police put out a release exactly a week after the discovery saying only that the hate crime unit has been consulted and at this time, it's not being treated as hate-motivated.
They say this is still an ongoing investigation and is not believed to be connected to any other previous incidents.
Nooses have been found at four other construction sites around the city over the past several months.
No arrests have been made.
