After an extremely tense day Thursday in which Toronto Police bolstered their presence in the downtown core, things are now back to normal.
Just before 11 p.m. Thursday, police announced that normal operations had resumed and they had pulled their extra officers off the street.
However, they stated that people will continue to see enhanced police presence around Rogers Centre as part of their 2018 downtown security plan.
There's still no word on who may have been behind the threat, which police said was due to "unconfirmed and uncorroborated information."
A police memo floating around suggested the information was related to a possible vehicle ramming attack around the CN Tower.
The beefed-up security came into play ahead of Thursday evening's Foo Fighters concert at Rogers Centre, which went off without incident.
