Toronto Police are alerting the public about an arrest made in a sexual assault investigation.
A pastor at a North York church is alleged to have assaulted an 11 year-old girl, on multiple occasions, over a two-year period.
Police say the child was at private tutoring sessions when the alleged assaults took place between 2015 and 2017.
61 year-old Ki-Jin Kim of Toronto has been charged with sexual assault, sexual interference and invitation to sexual touching.
He is scheduled to make a court appearance in January.
Kim is a pastor at the North York Sansung Church.
Investigators say he was a Sunday school volunteer, from 1998 to 2001, at the Young Nak Church located at 650 McNicoll Avenue.
In 2004, he was an assistant pastor at the Manmin Presbyterian Church in Toronto.
He has also worked as a private tutor in Toronto.
Police are concerned there may be other victims.
